Family albums are a historic record of its owners lives, documenting important milestones or significant moments. I question its authenticity in capturing the decisive moments that create and define a family. In the average photo album you only see the happy times or celebrations. What about the turmoil, heartbreaks, fights, arguments, divorces, and deaths?
This series I created photographs of difficult situations in my family's history.
