As the child of immigrants, I was insecure about my identity growing up. I explore my childhood desire to look like a member of the dominant caucasian culture that surrounded me. I altered my school photographs, slowing transforming myself "white," as I grew older, but eventually this desire took a back seat when I reached puberty.
